This week, Troop 181 is hosting its annual food drive to support a local food bank. Please collect non-perishable food items, such as canned goods or dry pantry staples, and bring them to the Scout House during this Sunday evening’s troop meeting. Scouts are also encouraged to collect donations in their neighborhoods by going door-to-door or reaching out to family and friends. Donations will likely go to the Patrician Society Emergency Food Cupboard in Norristown, which supports over 2,000 families in need each year. Let’s make a strong effort to give back to our community this holiday season—every contribution makes a difference!

Posted on Nov 19 2024 - 1:53pm

Effective September 1, 2023, all adults staying overnight in connection with a Scouting activity must be currently registered as an adult volunteer (troop leader).  Adult volunteers must register in the position(s) they are serving in.  Registration as a merit badge counselor position does not meet this requirement.
